Job Responsibilities

Translate verbal and written requirements/functional specifications into effective test cases/scenarios in order to conduct integrated, scenario-based User Acceptance Testing (UAT) of a complex healthcare system.

Create test cases for testing business applications to verify functional requirements are incorporated into the system design.

Apply, design and develop automated testing strategies and build automation testing frameworks.

Develop testing strategy for cross browser, 508 and mobile testing.

Develop and identify test data for test scenarios.

Execute test cases and document results of the execution.

Document defects identified during test case execution and work with developers to resolve the defects.

Create a test plan and a test calendar to coordinate testing and establish timelines for successful completion.

Hands on experience with performance testing techniques such as performance modeling, establishing baselines, services monitoring, and profiling system performance.

Experience with using performance tools and techniques to simulate large enterprise environments, such as JMeter, Gatling, BlazeMeter or similar tools.

Work with stakeholders and management to resolve issues and validate requirements within their specific areas of responsibility.

Conduct quality assurance activities such as peer reviews of test cases, test plans, and test case execution results.

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Electronics engineering, Computer science or closely related field.

At least four years of Software Quality and Assurance Analyst and Testers experience

Preferred to have Certificate in Software Testing from International Software Testing Qualifications Board.

Able to integrate multiple data sources and databases into one system Understanding of the threading limitations of Python, and multi- process architecture.

Manage very large, highly transactional, multiple RDBMS Oracle Databases that includes database monitoring, performance tuning & production support.

Develop scripts for database task scheduling, monitoring, maintenance and Recovery Planning.

Understanding of the differences between multiple delivery platforms, such as mobile vs desktop, and optimizing output to match the specific platform.

Develop, build, and manage complex, operational and mandated SQL reports.

Conduct feasibility studies from design, implementation and post-implementation evaluation from a number of possible approaches.

Interface with business and IT teams to understand and translate business requirements into formal technical requirements and application code.

Write a variety of queries in SQL and develop reports in SSRS – (SQL Server Reporting Services) and/or PostgreSQL.

Identify opportunities for sharing commonly used data internally and externally.

Interpret data analysis to support decision-making by management and strategic planning.

Utilize database applications and analytical tools to evaluate data quality, functions and maintain operations.

Analyze business process to develop data solutions/reports to meet business, application requirement.

Work in multi-disciplinary teams in a fast paced, technically challenging environment.

Assist the development team, business operations team and the testing team to analyze, fix, test and transmit EDI files on a daily basis.

Create data change requests to fix consumer or system reported errors, coordinate with technical and business teams to analyze error reports,access HBX database and application to perform root cause analysis for transaction rejections.

Develop and execute quality unit test and integration plans/scripts to validate that application changes meet technical specifications.

Work with testing team and business teams to complete acceptance testing and participate in integration testing.

Participate in technical reviews at appropriate stages of software and application development.

Adhere to all security, Project Management Office (PMO) change control, work management and service delivery policies, processes, tools and methodologies.

Qualifications

Bachelors Degree in Electronics engineering, Computer science or closely related field.

At least Five years of Database Engineer (or) Database Administrator experience

Preferred to have Microsoft Azure Database Administrator (or) Oracle Database Administrator certificate.

Desired to have Microsoft Azure Security Engineer Certificate
